"Lost In The World Like Me"

What is the general premise of the video?
The video shows how everyone is always on their phones, never paying attention to the real world. It shows how the world is falling apart and no one cares because their entire life is on their phones. They are so brainwashed by their phones that they watch a suicide take place, video it for social media, and walk away.
Is the video effective in conveying it's intended message?

This video is very good at conveying the intended message because it clearly paints the story that social media is an issue by showing the main character trying to get people off of their phones because he realizes that the entire world is up in flames and everything is falling apart.

Do you feel that this is more of a cautionary story (a warning) or more of an examination of our current social situation? Why?

I feel that this story is both cautionary and an examination in some ways. I do think that everyone is always on their phones, and social media is an entire world of its own, but we have not gotten to the extent that everyone is so glued to their phones that major issues of the world go right over our heads. I think that we need to pay more attention to todays issues before things get bad.
