In this composition, I think that they used about 20 different photographs. Not all of the photos were taken on the same day. you can tell because some of the pictures are darker than the others. There were obvious photoshop enhancements because the photos had different brightness. I think that to make this piece, the photographer began by taking a lot of photos of the image he was trying to capture, using close ups and changing the time of day. Then he lined up the images to match the original photo and created a collage like picture using all of the images.
