reflection grade

During the second semester, I plan on using Photoshop more, and being more efficient with my time. To do so, i need to take my photos a long time before the assignment is due. I will do this to give myself more time to work of the assignment to improve the quality of work.

I give myself a D for this because I am not good at taking photos ahead of time. I also need to work on time management.

letter to past self

Dear Morgan, 

I am writing to you in the future to tell you how to successfully pass your photography class. First of all, the most important thing that you should do is making sure that you always have your photos shot. By having these done by the beginning of the assignment being assigned, it would give you more time to make a better assignment. Another thing that you should remember is to use photoshop more to make the colors brighter, and tweak the amount of lighting if it is not as good. My best photoshop piece is this, because I spent a lot of time making the collage and I brightened the colors to make it pop.

The Importance of Art

"Tax dollars should not be wasted on art, music or theater classes in high school. Public high schools should be about training young people to enter the workforce. Period."

I somewhat agree with this quote, but not completely. I agree because we go to school in order to learn material that would essentially prepare us for jobs in the future. On the other hand, it may be useful to have art classes in highschools because not everyone will have desk jobs.
